I hope she pulls through, although most in here believe it is just a "common cold"

Mr M.
My understanding is that these nurses will advise you on treatment as well as interface with the hospital staff directly to advocate for treatment on your behalf. I have not used them.

exactly.

it's crazy that the disinformation pumped onto the internet is able convince people with no medical education that they know more than a physician.

TheMunch, what I have seen when they call it Covid pneumonia is not what you see in a typical pneumonia x-ray that has fluid.
I've seen a cloudy lung that doesn't have fluid in it called Covid Pneumonia. It is not really pneumonia but inflamation caused by Covid disease.
This is associated with hypoxia where the lungs can't transfer sufficient oxygen to the body so the high concentrations of O2 are needed.

Mr. M, hopefully you find a Dr that will prescribe HCQ. There is covid only Dr. here in DFW, that sees patients like this and she prescribes antibiotics, HCQ, aspirin, very low carb diet (if blood sugar is high), she has people keep blood sugar at or below 100.

Keep your wife's outlook positive, do not let fear creep into her mind, it destroys people. The mind can be an important weapon against disease or against yourself.

You are her advocate. Make noise about HCQ and Ivermectin don't let them ventilate.

If she is at 8 to 10 days positive, they won't give it to her I'm sure.

A cautionary tale to the anti science people on here. It’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and be a bad arse until a loved one is in the crosshairs.

There is nothing anti-science about pushing Ivermectin or HCQ when it has been used with great success in other countries and even in the US with Dr's risking their license because they are not obeying the CDC.
Hospitals and the Dr's working there have a financial interest in pushing vents, Remdisivir, etc. They are getting federal funds and also have their hands bound by the CDC, NIH, etc.

What’s crazier is the amount of physicians research that is suppressed on the internet because it doesn’t line up with the agenda.

Why is that?

One thing that doctors will tell you is not make sure she does not lie down for long period of time otherwise the pneumonia will get worse. Sit her upright as often as possible.

Our medical establishment has been an incredible disappointment and failure.

I’m very sorry to hear about your struggles.

Only thing I can offer is prayer and beware of that ventilator and kidney killing drug. They’re gonna press hard to get her on one soon. Read the protocol people have linked here.

I don't want to hijack this thread but this isn't the point of independent research. Your straw-man comment assumes that there are no factors besides objective "knowledge."

And even still, I absolutely know more about various aspects of nutrition than many MDs.

It's a matter of focus, corruption/undue influence (if you think that hasn't inundated the medical field then I don't have much to say to you), and desire to educate yourself.

When it comes to COVID, all bets are off to me. Your comment assumes there's a legitimate scientific consensus (a dubious proposition in any case) on all things COVID.

End rant. Prayers for OP and his wife.

Someone posted Pfizer’s six month data the other day. 4 doctors popped into the thread to run their yaps until they realized they didn’t know frick all about the data.

Like that Lancet article that falsified numbers to condemn hydroxychloroquine because they wanted a certain result instead of actual information?

Don’t use Betadine! It doesn’t prevent you from getting Covid!!!

Ivermectin is horse paste!!!

Remdesivir shows a lot of promise!!!
