Played on the Falcons 5th-7th grade. We practiced at Sherwood Elementary. Played (most? all?) of our games at Westdale Junior High. City co-champions in 1980. (still have the trophy, lol). Coach Alexander. His son was the running back and built like a tank. I had to try and tackle him in a drill and he proceeded to run my skinny arse over. We had a blast though. I remember the stick em too. Also we would play our games in the morning and the coaches would walk around while we were stretching and stick smelling salts (ammonia) by our noses to wake us up. lol. Anyone remember Stacy Dennis? He was our quarterback.

I probably know you; I remember Stacy Dennis, plus a bunch of others from those teams! Coach Alexander is my dad and Brian my brother.

I think I remember playing against Stacy Dennis at Trafton. Want to say he was their QB in ‘88 or ‘89. Before him Todd Kinchen played QB for Trafton against us probably in ‘86 I think. Fastest white or black player I ever played against. He basically hurdled me on a sweep and nobody else got near him.
