I played college baseball and I know firsthand how hard it can be to keep up with practices, games, and travel while going to class, studying, and maintaining grades can be. And that's baseball, football is much worse on the body.

LSU football stopped being a "game" a long time ago. It's big money and the 12th game was just recently added to capitalize on it.
