Yes, I am not sure if people realize that LSU is likely being booted over to the SEC Big 12 Pod very soon, further diluting the rivalry aspect of being a fan.

Every step they take away from amateur athletics and towards pro is closer to minor league NFL. Last I checked the USFL, XFL, World League all sucked and got zero tv ratings. They’re killing their own golden goose which is 100% calibrated to a connection to a school. If a player doesn’t have it neither will the consumers.

Hey dumb arse, he made extremely racists points prior to his Nascar bs. If you can't pick up on that, I don't know what to tell you.

For me, it all started with #7 kneeling for our National Anthem....and it bled over to college, high school, and even grammar school sports.

Now add NIL and transfer portal....it is not about the school and the team anymore, it is about the individual player and his money.

The can of worms is open, and the worms are as big as snakes.

This new generation of people will never know how great it was....and it was GREAT.

You’re not alone. Penn Stater for life, overall college fan. No more.

Bowl season ruined for years.

Fun watching LSU, Alabama, and Georgia.

I’m just tired of the BLM and systemic racism that permeates collegiate and professional sports.

I’ve watched 1% of what I normally would this football season.

So, college football is collapsing because some folks think Black Lives Matter?
The desegregation of college football must have been traumatic for you.

So it was BLM that did you in and not the rampant child rape. Nice

Ryan, is that you? College is due to NIL and Transfers...you are thinking of the NFL Ryan. Now, you did stir up a shite show in 2020 though with your march.

I have found it refreshing to not give a damn. I went to
bed a little after half Tuesday night. Not disgusted, not mad...just not really interested.

Hopefully the NCAA and college sports can figure this shite out, but if they dont I see a huge upswing in Fall weddings.

I would add that these are kids and the environment currently robs them of being kids. This NIL will be a much bigger business than will be advertised. Handlers/agents will be finding every 15/16 yr old kid with potential and start molding them into a marketable commodity/skilled craftsman. That’s not fair and will lead to a generation of missed childhood professional athletes and former athletes. My love of college sports isn’t dying. College sports are dying.

The Confederate stars and bars flag is actually a battle flag. The Confederacy itself had a different flag (Google it). We are no longer at war with each other - no need to wave it anymore. That being said, outright banning it seems a little un-American.

College football is dead to me (Because my team is not doing great in recruiting right now because of a coaching change and because university backers were slow to adapt to NIL by developing a program)

Most of you whiny pussies will not be saying this at the start of next season and all of you whiny pussies will not be saying this when we next compete for a natty.
