Gaines is a good player, no question, but he's not immune to fair critique.
Thus far in his college career, Gaines has shot 30% overall, 18% from 3.
At one point in the Auburn game, he was something like 1-22 for his previous 3-pointers. If you're not making 3s, take less of them and go to the rack.
Then, of course, he's 2-2 from beyond the arc last night!

Never said he wasn't immune. He should be immune to "Eric Gaines fricking sucks, he's a liability, he's awful" comments tho

Shot selection was much better. I think Wade's talk with him worked. Take 3's when wide open or your defender is not even pretending to contest. Otherwise, take it to the hole or pass and cut
