Going for 12 this year. Already got 2 down so far:

1. In the Garden of Beasts (Larson)
2. The Poisonwood Bible (Kingsolver)

Garden of Beasts has me really interested in getting into some more history books.

Erik Larson and TJ English write interesting nonfiction in an easy to read, narrative style. Highly recommend starting there if you enjoyed Garden of Beasts and want something similar

3. Memory Man - Baldacci
4. Flyboys - Bradley

I got another history book without much research and I’m thinking it was a mistake. Anyone read The Secret History of the World by Mark Booth? Thought it might be interesting but the intro makes me think it’s just a book of crackpot theories and Illuminati shite
