Wasn't aware Novak still can't enter the US, so he's out for Miami too unless something changes.
I think the vax requirements will chill out as the year goes on, so I am pretty confident that Novak will be able to play the remainder of the slams this year; and hopefully most of the 1000 level events, too.
But yeah, seems like he will have to miss Indian Wells and Miami, which is bullshite.

Apparently Zverev was still on court with Brooksby last night past 3 AM in Acapulco. I guess they don't start until 6 PM local to avoid the heat. Decent field there with 4 of the top 5 players.
It is the best field they've ever had. They need to split up Dubai and Acapulco moving forward so they aren't the same week. Dubai is a big purse, but guys want to play Acapulco when it's at this time in the calendar because they want to get to North America ahead of Indian Wells and Miami. It can be the "Sunshine Triple" as I have heard some people call it.

Yeah and the courts are more similar to IW and Miami.
One thing I never thought about is what would happen to Miami if IW became a slam. Guess there would have to be some schedule adjustments.
