If they won’t give him his pay range, then they won’t give him a minimum 40 hours either.
The rates are set yearly or longer, so they know exactly how much per plant fyi. Just depends how they classify him to the owner.

They might not even know what plant he is going to, or even so, maybe they don’t know where he will be slotted because of incumbent workers maybe moving up a little
