Their city name translates to Red Rocket. When people name their town after a dog's junk... YES, it hurts the image of our program to play them. No one wants to see that stuff. Especially on national television.

this is another gem

quote:

I get the feeling that Baton Rouge is like a Topeka but worse in every way. It's a blue collar industrial State Capitol with an average university located in an area of town with crime issues. Instead of the diversified manufacturing base that Topeka has everyone in Baton Rouge works at the refinery or survives off kick backs from the government. Also instead of helping to end segregation like Topeka did Baton Rouge helped to start it.

That thread has some top tier trolls in it

Did you hear about the tornado that hit Manhatten, KS?
It caused $10,000,000 in improvements!

Seriously though...if ever there was a time for K. State to beat LSU in football this is the moment. The moment when the program is in complete turnover with a new coaching staff, opt outs and transfers. This is going to ge a test for our bowl coaches and an opportunity for a lot of players that normally don't see a lot of playing time.

We’re a huge National brand and LSU is filled with a bunch of dumb red necks. I can’t even remember the last time they were relevant in the sport either. This could be bad for the image of our program

I might not be the smartest person, but I can say with confidence the person who posted this does not follow CFB beyond Kansas St.

That thread is obviously TIC, although not very funny. Have seen others do it much better.

And then, predictably, they all moved on, as all cool people in Baton Rouge do. It's an unsustainable way of life. Literally every decent person in Baton Rouge would rather live in New Orleans instead

Say you've never been to New Orleans, without saying you've never been to New Orleans.

That thread is gold. Bunch of clueless idiots. Then they all tell each other it's ok and it'll be alright

Baton Rouge is a dump as is much of urban and suburban Louisiana. The collective IQ of its people is not favorably impressive. It was destroyed, like much of the South by "reconstruction" following the War of Northern Aggression.

Hahaha trolling, K-State is no where near as good or as often as SEC fans. Read through their thread and they like to throw the word racist around a lot while actually being racist. Hilarious

I live in Kansas. KState fans are good people and pretty down to earth (a lot of KU fans are the liberal snobs that I can't stand). I have a lot of friends who are KState fans so I can't wait for this game. Taking my folks down to Houston for it. I'll be down there cheering on our tigers and tiger baiting as many KState fans as I can

I've already been in several pissing contests with my friends and coworkers and so far I have the high ground on em. I need LSU to pull this out or my January is gonna be rough haha.
