Possibly. But I just think we spent so much money from boosters on this coaching search, we forgot that NIL was even a thing.

I never thought Woodward’s athletic department would be so utterly unprepared and incompetent when it comes to something so important for the football program

You will be downvoted heavily for observing that Woodward was AWOL on the NIL war when it started.
But you are correct.
And, NIL is not limited to football.
The school AD will have to organize, teach and coordinate boosters for all sports as to why this is essential to be competitive.
The schools that did that, succeeded (so far).

People have to recognize that this was a big swing and miss by LSU football. Now learn from it and correct it. Money for billboards in Time Square ain't going to cut it. Money going to Shazz Preston to tweet out 12 Five Minute Oil Change tweets a month gets Shazz Preston to LSU. It's that simple.
