Willie has been trying to get Ingram to play differently and he has been.

This, he's finally learning it seems, not to force the issue against double teams. He's finding his teammates. It took a long time, but it's happening.

Meh, the offensive set before the 3 necessitated that the 3 had to be made, and that was representative of many past end game BI issues, so not out of the woods yet, but progress nonetheless.

But that play also highlights how the silliness of threads like this happen in the first place.

We are a team lacking another true high level playmaker that can create off the dribble in the clutch, so BI is being asked to do too much almost every game, not to mention when your outlet guys are Temple, Hart, and Herb(not exactly knock down shooters), and Te oftentimes struggles with positioning himself off ball, the results reflect that.

A play like that should make people mad we don't have another playmaker and more reliable outlet shooters, not jump at the one guy that is forced to try and be all the things we are lacking because the roster is incomplete.

here's looking at you Griffin.

the zo deal/griff underachieved.
2019.pick4 for hayes and naw. put the guys available at pick8 in a hat. whomever you pull is a better basketball player than hayes. most are much better. some start. some played in playoffs as rotation guy on contender.
hayes is not yet "in rotation of western conf finalist".
neither is naw for that matter.

i liked herro and clarke.
based on performance.
griff liked hayes based on a fantasy. think about it.
he picked a guy who never started at texas and looked inexperienced in ncaa tournament which is how we see them vs other good athletes, other good bbiq guys. he was subject of tv analysis saying how he didnt play much in high school.

if you write to gayle say Griffin is not good at his job tasks.
his trades were some ok, some not great.
his stan hire was meh-.
his picks are mostly meh-.
herb is the lone great pick.
picking zion was universally supported.
so not genius.
Griffin has bumbled at his job tasks.
trades c+
contracts. c-
picks D
coach hires. C+
stan c-
green b+

griff is just a guy.
overall C-.

get him outta here.
now. today. not after trade deadline.

I basically agree with everything there.

And Griff also brings the added baggage of not being capable of fostering a good relationship with our best player. Lots of shades to Demps in how current and former players are speaking of Griff and the bad reputation he is earning amongst players around the league.

So you're just going to ignore all the shots he made before the game winner as well?

We do, though. He's working out at Nike.

I have to take exception with you. We don't have another playmaker. In order to be considered one, you have to, first, play.

frick that, this team is winless without Ingram. Dude is doubled, trapped etc, all the time and there are posters who come to boast at their cockamamie player eval on Ingram like he isn’t an one of the best scorers in basketball. He’s easily a top 30 player in this league.

Pels fans should be thrilled that Brandon Ingram has gotten better once again in his tenure here, but would rather be shite fans shitting on him, constantly.

Glad to see it hopefully we see more of it, but the team is still 10 games under .500 and turnovers are still a huge issue in the 4th quarter. Especially for BI. Hopefully he his mental toughness continues to develop and we see more of this.

The game shouldn’t even have been close or tied, how long have you been waiting for a game winner to be able to post this? Do you have a BI poster in your bedroom? Is he the background in your phone too?

Actually he turn it over in the 3rd quarter more than he does the 4th. And he only has 2.8 per game, T-32 in the league. Which is way down the line behind most star players, an even better stat if you factor in usage.

So you really dont know what the hell you're talking about but it sounds good to you so you say it.

As you just said..

It's a team that you should never really expect to blow someone out when the team has all their stars. "I know we played a better team and we're 10 games under .500 but no way this game should have been a close bro."

What’s his shooting percentage in the 4th?

I’ll admit he’s improved and hopefully continues to be more clutch and turnover less but it has cost us a number of games. He’s on a max contract sorry that means having higher expectations. Max players you except to Be able to take over in the 4th quarter, not having threads about him being benched.

Watch the game there were a number of times in the 4th quarter where he didn’t block out his man and let the twolves get offensive rebounds but hey you love him , so my apologies snowflake, I forgot we can’t call it like we see it.

Like I said glad to see have a good 4th quarter and he finally make one of those shots, hopefully this continues and give him confidence in the future.
