Why the hell not? Give us one big year then move on to another HC job.

Is Tebow or Prescott about to walk into practice facilities? If no then Mullen is a hard no from me.

He is...He's one of the brightest offensive minds in football, he's just aloof and a bad recruiter.

Every QB he's had except for Jones, he's done extremely well with.

I only know the 'aloof' side of him.

Not worried one bit - BK has his guys...

If his wife stays in Florida, with Covid we don't need her kissing the players and contaminating them.

Mullen is an egotistical jackass that everyone hates, and isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is. I have never seen a coach go away from what is working in games as much as him just so he can prove out much of a genius he is with some dumb trick play. He would be a cancer and horrible match with Kelly IMO.

I don’t like Mullen and think he’d be a bad fit, but he is a good OC and a great play caller.

Remember he made Dave Aranda look silly a couple of times.

Someone mentioned Tom Herman as OC on FB but I hesitated to spread that since it could be nothing more than yet another rumor.

I agree with the idea that some failed head coaches make for better coordinators. However, I am not so sure he is among the brightest offensive minds anymore.

On top of that he is an excuse maker and poor recruiter. None of that seems like a good recipe for success.

I think he wants to coach in the NFL, he’s not so big into recruiting. Would not be a bad hire tho, great with QB’s, just know his recruiting might not be so well.

Anyone who would not immediately take Mullen as OC is a moron. He's an X's and O's guy that's what he does.

Hell yes I’d take him as OC in a heartbeat. He’s proven he can produce elite offenses with any kind of personnel. From Dak to Trask to the trash they had at QB this year they were still a top 10 offense. His only issue is his laziness and lack of want to in recruiting but we ain’t recruiting skill players worth a damn this year anyways and lost the top 4 in the state to Bama and A&M. Mullen can scheme and call plays. Frank Wilson and others are supposed to be the aces for recruiting purposes

Did you not see what he did with Kyle Trask? I have a deep dislike for Dan Mullen but the man knows offensive football.
