I think AB was negligent but not premeditated. He was the producer of Rust as well as being an actor. It was his job to ensure the safety of all and his insane arse is the one who - “pulled the trigger.”

I hope when he goes to trial and is convicted that he gets time for perjury and negligent homicide.

My theory is that he knew that gun was not just a prop and he fired it with the crew off set. I am willing to bet when they got their story straight and then that armorer figured out that she would be thrown under the bus and started telling the real story. There is something on that phone that is damming to him. He did not help himself with that interview either. Will something come of this? Maybe ,but when someone is very wealthy and can get a top shelf lawyer I wouldn't bet on it. My guess as to what happened is that they they were fricking around and firing the weapon off set before the scene, a live round was left in the weapon, and when they started rolling the woman ended up dead. It was a death due to carelessness and neglect with him being involved.

If you want to kill someone, having a movie star shoot her in front of witnesses on a movie set would be the dumbest plan ever. He only escapes manslaughter if the jury thinks he didn't pull the trigger. He is an idiot for doing the interview. You know that idiot was texting people about what really happened.
