Baton Rouge is definitely lacking in "upscale" Mexican cuisine. I went to San Diego a couple of years back and ate at a very expensive Mexican restaurant and it was exquisite. Not this cheap, "let's see how much food we can put on your plate" crap.

Little place on Siegan by Harley Davidson is awesome. I think the name is La Tientda or something like that. Everytime I go in there I am one of the few gringos in there
