Is there a better QB in the transfer portal than Myles Brennan?

If not, it should be a no-brainer for CBK to bring Brennan back. Let him finish out his senior year while Walker Howard learns behind him and we recruit another 4 or 5 star next year.

Well what type of offence will the new OC run? Brennen is not a RPO type of guy.

Brennan is definetly the most knowledgeable veteran QB in the portal. Hes shown chemistry with this group & above average velocity & accuracy.

I don't think Kelly wants a starting QB from the portal, I think he wants depth.
I think this team is going to belong to the Howard-Nussmeier winner, and will take a few losses as it grows together. I think maybe 8-4 or 9-3 next year, with two good runs at the SEC title following. Heavy challenge in 23, possible NC in 24.
I don't think they want to throw the timing off. Start Howard immediately, don't beat him down for losing a few games early in his career, let him grow into it.
Brennan needs to go to a place like Nebraska (coach on the hot seat, needs to win NOW).

Brennan is probably the most talented but it's doubtful he can play an entire season. That fricker is injury prone like I've never seen before. He was always hurt when he was the backup. If he worked in a plant we would have to fire him before he got killed....

I really like Myles and think he’s an above avg QB and good leader. Would be thrilled to have him back.
Have any of y’all actually seen Ewers play? Not impressed with his skill set. He has a three-quarters (almost sidearm) delivery that is slow and would not work in the SEC.

Brennan definitely has the talent but he doesn’t have a dependable body to deal with the physical play of the SEC each and every week. I wouldn’t mind him at all coming back at all but Kelly cannot put all of his eggs in the Brennan basket. Just too injury prone to count on playing a whole season. The backup will have to be equally prepared as Brennan each week to play.

He may not be the best, but we can win with him if we can get a decent OC. LSU is a much better place for him than Neb. or Southern M.

I think Gabriel or Miller may be better but he certainly is one of the top ones. I 100% want him to stay.
