Think about this . He had to be enrolled this semester. The semester is almost over . Most probably online classes since he graduated. Walks back into building and goes to work Monday . Already knows offense .

I’d think more than a few kids who entered the portal will be back when the dust settles. Nobody stays through 3 years of Ed Orgeron and high tails it because Brian Kelly takes over. That makes no sense and you’d have to be getting the worst advice ever to do that

Listening to Kelly interviews and reading the tea leaves I was gonna say he was coming back , this solidifies it. Questions is does he play in bowl game?

Yes he plays . He just wasn’t with the team after entering the portal .

Like Bo Whitley for the Minnesota St Screaming Eagles in the Pineapple Bowl. But I think it'd be hard to hide Brennan being at practice or travelling with the team.

Probably why Max is leaving. He knows Brennan is the better QB and Max doesn’t sniff the field if Brennan doesn’t get hurt.

I'll say that's not the most unreasonable stance I've heard.
If we could get Brennan and Smith to come back I'd feel a lot better about the offense. This also assumes Boutte stays.
