I sympathize. Our family is cursed with them.
Eight days is too long. Get to an ER. They can give you a shot that will take care of it.
Then go see your MD. Get an Rx for a drug that you can take when one comes on.
Rizotriptan works for me. Imiteex is another good one.

Thank you. I have been put on sumatriptan and fioricet (sp) I am weary of ER cause I’m not looking for hard drugs and I’m worried that’s what they would think and not really take it serious. I’ve messaged my primary doctor and will probably go back to him.
I have had health issues the past couple of months (heart, respiratory) and don’t know if all of this is related
