For all the talk about Brady hating college football, I just heard from an ex-Panthers lineman that Brady was dealing with (considering?) multiple CFB inquiries in recent weeks. He felt Brady was going to exit or be fired at the end of the year, but the timing of his dismissal may have been related to "the CFB stuff". Nothing specific he was aware of re: LSU though.

This article (below) came out ~30 mins ago and jibes with what I was told ... except my impression was the Brady contacts were over the last few weeks. That timeframe insinuates players other than Miami.

As InsideTheU’s David Lake wrote to VIP members Monday afternoon, there is “mutual respect” between former Carolina Panthers play-caller Joe Brady and Miami.

Both the Associated Press’ Tim Reynolds and Mike Ryan Ruiz of the Dan LeBatard Show have reported similar sentiments regarding Brady and the Hurricanes.

“I know conversations have already been had & comms are open,” Ryan wrote Tuesday on Twitter. “I don’t know where it stands at this very moment. But there is certainly something to it. It would be a tremendous hire, IMO.”
