I am a straight up, 100% capitalist. This has nothing to do with capitalism...it has everything to do with ruining college football as we know it. Hell, even the NFL has caps on what can be spent and they only have certain periods where they can trade someone, etc. No caps that I've heard of with NIL and players can up and leave to another team whenever they want through the portal. College football will be diminished and, in turn, so will the NFL by default.

The appeal of sports is a competitive playing field, and when big money schools can basically buy better players, then it's not fair competition anymore, and that will show on the field, and public interest in the sport will decrease.
Thus the salary cap, in pro ball.
And if this continues, there will be little difference between pro ball and college ball.

This NIL crap is ruining college football and all you idiots who don't see it are blind! Rich schools can buy recruits and that is the opposite of what they need to do? Let's expand the playoffs and get a little parity cause people are tired of seeing the same shite, oh wait, back to the same shite with the same schools? Some schools can't afford as much as others so in what world is that right?
