You’re in a system with Louisiana Tech and UNO, both of which are arguably just as if not more prestigious than you guys are.

That's a whole lot of content for just "know your place."
Irritate everybody for calling ourselves "Louisiana"? If you lose sleep over that, then you need help. There's a lot of problems in this state that goes beyond what a school not named LSU calls itself. Heck, even LSU has more to worry about like keeping the lights on in your library.

UL has one of the best AD’s in the nation, so doubtful. Shows what a supportive administration and proper funding can do in Louisiana.
They can use some more casual bandwagon fans, but other than less sales at the local wal-mart they should be ok!

I agree. Apathy toward the other school is fine, animosity comes across as insecure for LSU fans and, as my wife puts it, yappy for the UL Lafayette fans.
I follow and cheer for the Cajuns, but I am a diehard LSU fan and season ticket holder.

Great that you support your team, it is. And you are correct most people don't support the Cajuns.
ULL had their best team ever but would have lost in all likelihood to a terrible LSU team. LSU did suck by their standards but ULL did get the crap beat out of them by a terrible UT team. And LSU did come really close against Bama with a depleted roster and beat A&M. So, yes LSU sucked -- fired coach. LSU fans agree. We sucked.
I just don't understand why you come to an LSU board and make Cajun comments just to cause BS? No one outside of a very small group of people actually care of ULL. The frustration of that reality is what drives most hatred of the ULL true fans, which i think you are probably a true fan of the Cajuns. So, why would you continue to come to this forum and get yourself hammered with reality. Better to live in the land of Bigfoot and Unicorns with some other real Cajun fans and not have to deal with realistic facts.
