One of these years Sean is going to leave and we are going to realize how good we’ve had it. If not for a bs call against Ten, and the inability to kick an extra point we are 7 and 4. With all the injuries, the fact that we have only really been out of the Buffalo game is amazing.

Yeah, no other teams win super bowls. Just Sean. Oh wait....he won one.

He’s certainly better than anyone else we’ve had as head coach but that doesn’t say a ton

Yeah people here who bash Sean are retarded.

We’re missing half our line, our #1 QB, our #1 RB, and our #1 WR decided to have surgery in the pre-season. Not to mention we are on our 3rd field goal kicker. It’s insurmountable.

Just like Drew and everyone ready to move on. Betcha they wish his old arse was QB1 now.

Would be great to snag Rodgers or Russell this off-season.

Why are people on both sides of the CSP conversation so zealous? It's not binary.

Is he an above average coach who should definitely not be fired? I think most would say yes. Is he flawed and arrogant and make boneheaded play calls and poor time management decisions? Again, I think most people who watch Saints games would probably agree with that statement as well.

Yeah but we have the best regular season record from 2016 to 2020 seasons. I’m not sure what that means but it has to mean something

Well he got cheated out of 1 SB appearance, won 1, and I would argue the BS suspension cost us 3 years, so not sure what your idea of meeting expectations.

He's an above average coach, who along with Loomis, sold out the future of the franchise to win one more. He couldn't do it. Saints fans are so jaded from the past they assume we will just bring Ditka back after Sean is gone. Just turning into a cringe fan base.

Payton tenure has been an overall failure here. He got that one Super Bowl but left at least 2 maybe 3 on the field. Wasted a hall of fame career with bad defense and low quality receiving talent. Choking away in spectacular fashion there after. Especially in 2011 and 2018. I rather a losing season than going 13-3, bringing my hopes up and having to watch them choke it away again to the lowly Vikings or some stupid arse team like them.

He has his flaws but if not for a global pandemic, we still have Emanuel Sanders, Janoris, and a few more. That’s changes who we draft and the look of the team.

If you call winning 65% of your games and being in the hunt almost every year a failure, what does success look like?

The salary cap retracted, forced us to cut close to 80 million in salary. Don’t get me wrong, they would have needed to make moves to meet the cap anyway but the cap going backwards made it severe
