So, I'm asking y'all what exactly is the plan??

I mean all he had to show was the monetary support we obviously were able to raise to buyout Orgeron and hire him, the facilities we already have, the fan base we have, the success we've had, the vast amount of talent in the area to recruit, the commitment to winning, etc. The pieces are in place for anyone to come in and win big. The "plan" was probably something along the lines of "whatever you could ever need as a coach will be provided to you."

All good humor is based on truth. This is no exception.

I know. I meant with regards to having Jindal step in to not fire Les in 2013 and FKA step in to not fire Les in 2015 because he didn’t understand that LSU wasn’t paying the buyout.

If that is part of their plan, that sounds pretty damn good to me.
This is nothing new. Mark Emmert believed in this method while at UConn and brought that philosophy with him to LSU….Saban hired….and so it began.

That's not a plan. That's an aspiration.

Have you noticed the changes around LSU in the last 10 years? They’ve been investing a ton of money into revamping the school

When Bama started winning and getting national attention, they used the exposure as a springboard to rebrand their academics, especially their out of state talent recruiting. They started throwing out scholarship money to the smartest kids out of state. Then they started getting in those kids and their academic rankings went up, and up across the board.

All of that started BEFORE Nick Saban got there.

They were ranked #148 in the US News National rankings that were recently released for 2022. How bad were they before Saban got there?
FYI…LSU is at #172
