because they really don't bring much to the table. Them and Mizzou are on the same level to me to be honest...

A Cincinnati blogger said this lastnight and it's blown up since then. Truth is that no one outside of the presidents, ADs, and probably coaches knows what the hell is happening

I think Slive needs to get his arse to Morgantown and experience gameday up there for himself this weekend.
Should be a crazy atmosphere with all of the LSU and West Virginia fans in one place. An SEC atmosphere, if you get what I'm saying.
I think after this weekend, a lot of LSU fans will be in favor of adding WVU to the SEC.

i have no doubt their fan base would fit in, probably more than mizzou's, but it's all about $.

they have above average academics, would be middle of the road in the SEC
they bring the Pittsburgh market
they have won more BCS games than half of the SEC, and their basketball team would be top 3 from the get go.
