ya, IMO this benefits the Big 10 in a huge way
The Texas schools? not nearly so much - even tho they gain television revenue... they will have to travel for everything - including football road games to plenty of cold venues in October and November
But if I were a Big 10 school? I'd be very pleased

I can't see Texas traveling north late in the season for a game...too cold for them. Hell, even TAMU would hate that.

With Tech being as far west as they are...they would be a more logical fit for Pac-10 or MWC.

Should have little impact on recruiting. OU and LSU are similar in football (regarding facilities, schedules, national spotlight, etc) so moving from one BCS conference to another will have very little impact.

There is no point in moving anyone unless we add two teams to the west or two teams to the east. Then you would only move one team.
