Shows that Mizzou can slide into the East in a 14 team league with virtually no worries about travel differences between divisions.

Yeah but does seem unfair with competitive balance.

West patsy = Ole Miss

East Pasties = Mizzou, Vandy, Kentucky

Why is MSU not considered in this classification?

Mizzou has not been too much of a patsy the last few years under Pinkel.

Would be a much better add than either A&M or Mizzou.

Just shows that we could get away with sticking them in the East.

If they put them in the East, I would hope they give us them as their permanent opponent. Would be a nice rivalry to develop instead of us playing South Carolina every year.

I don't understand all the mileage posts, and the academic posts. Neither is a big deal. For Texas, this is about TV $$$$ and ego, nothing more. For everyone else, it's about Texas lack of honesty.

Damn, that is a helpful map. Guess I'm geographically challenged, but I thought MO was further west.

So color me as a geography failure, but color MO as a good geographic fit with the SEC.

Gotta admit, when I first saw that map, I too was floored by how simply it illustrates the SEC14, with Mizzou in the East. Simplifies so many things.

Happy to read that others see its worth, too.
