Here is the distance between LSU and SEC schools. Surprise: Texas A&M is further than Tuscaloosa!

Distances (by air) from LSU Baton Rouge
Starkville MS 250 mi
Oxford MS 285 mi
Tuscaloosa AL 285 mi
College Station TX 310 mi
Auburn AL 365 mi
Fayetteville AR 425 mi
Nashville TN 465 mi
Athens GA 515 mi
Gainesville FL 530 mi
Knoxville TN 565 mi
Columbia MO 590 mi
Columbia SC 640 mi
Lexington KY 645 mi

Here is a nice graphic of distances from Missouri's old opponents compared to their new SEC family:

That information is worthless. Go to MapQuest.com and you can figure the driving distances from COMO to all other SEC towns in about 10 minutes. I did it a couple of weeks ago to show a Mizzou friend how they really are not being hurt by joining the East. I'd tell you what I found but am not going to go looking for it.

I have it on my photobucket account but it's over the limit.

There is literally only a 140 mile difference from the East to West.

That graphic doesn't include WVU and TCU which would have both extended the average driving distance for Mizzou if it had stayed in the Big 12.
