Undefeated regular season and played for the national championship? Seems pretty good to me. Everyone has an off year. Again 9 straight 10 win seasons, you are due for an off year at some point.

WTF? UT did terribly in the Big 12 last year, your argument makes no sense. UT in the SEC east last year might have had a better record than in the Big 12 South.

What I am sayin is, UT has an even more pathetic year if they are in the SEC last year.

Why in gods green earth would they have been in the SEC east....that makes no sense at all.

From what I recall, Alabama built their whole gameplan arround the skill set of the little guy with a bruised sholder. They adjusted to the other QB and kept playing. Granted, our QB only had broken ribs instead of a bruised shoulder.

Adjusting to injurries and other situations is part of the game. They had their put-up or shut-up moment just like LSU had this past weekend. LSU had the stones to make the needed adjustment. UT just continues to whine...but, but...if!

Hahaha...he had to protect those dollars in the NFL. He told Mack...eff that I am not going back out there against that defense, I may get injured and end my career. Honestly, he did look scared IMO.

Really? Of the 5 teams Texas played in the Big 12 south, they lost to four. I can say with conviction Texas could have beat Ole Miss last year.

Texas also lost to Kansas St and Iowa State, whether they would have lost to the likes of Vanderbilt and Kentucky is certainly debatable.

I don't know, if the helmet hit an inch higher or lower, Colt finishes the game.

If I didn't like jarring back and forth, I wouldn't spend time on a message board.

You would have lost to Kentucky, especially if you played them in late October-early November when things got really ugly for y'all. You probably finish 4-8 maybe 5-7 in the East last year, look at UGA or Tennessee's schedule.

Man, you folks just don't get it. Tejas got greedy, tried to manipulate those around them into playing along and now may be stuck alone in the corner trying to make this network thing successful and in the end, may bring the whole program down. I don't think Tejas had nearly as much power as they believed they had.

You're overstating the predicament more than a little bit.

Son you are on a crack high right about now. I really wish, now, that we would have had you as the opponent in the Cotton Bowl so we could shove that smug lil smirk all the way down your throat to the turf.

Well for starters...

1. It's not just about A&M anymore...the other members in your conference are getting very restless with things.
2. Daddy Dodds is no longer driving "Big 9 Bus" (which by the way is looking more and more like a "short bus").
3. Boren and Stoops up at OU are now leading either the exodus from your dying conference, or its rebuild effort.

From what I have been hearing, Texas is 100% focused on keeping the LHN going. Texas will go independent before it gives it up. LHN will serves as the regional network for Texas in the Big 10 system of networks and Texas will take $15 mill less a year from BTN payout to make everything even.

Understood, but if UT starts a series of seasons like last one this will change pronto.

As has been stated on here, TX got greedy and overplayed their hand. If they go Pac 10/12/16, the LHN will have to go. The Big 10/12/14/16 might make it a regional network, but as the LHN it is dead.

Or TX can get even greedier and try the independent route. Problem is, the Pac 10/12/16, the Big 10/12/14/16 and the SEC conference teams won't play them without TX shelling out enormous cash. The conference teams gain little by playing TX out of conference.

And allow me to touch on the UT fan's delusion that A&M is out of their league in the SEC. In that past 40 games versus the Horns, the series is tied 20-20. So if A&M is out of their league in teh SEC, it appears TX would be as well.

TX has built their reputation on beating the hell out of the Rice, TCU, SMU's UTEP, Baylor's of the world. The future schedule posted above looks akin to an old SouthWest conference slate.

That is why LSU is getting such good recruits from Texas. Love the fact that we played our last two games in Dallas. Tons of Texas kids saw us destroy two good teams and they are saying I want to be a Tiger.
