Expansion Thoughts

Pure speculation but I believe Slives main goal in this whole thing is increasing the "footprint" (expanding into states where there are no SEC teams) of the Conference to bolster a potential SEC Network similar to the Big Ten network . For this reason I think you can rule out GT, FSU, and Clemson. West Virginia is not a real attractive pick to me for 14 because WV only has 2 mil people in the state. To me team #14 has to come from either Virginia or North Carolina. I don't like Mizzou at 14 because I believe they would leave as soon as the Big Ten came calling ( I wouldn't be opposed if to them If the Big Ten expanded to 16 and didn't include them). I think VT has to be target #1 followed by NC State. If you can get them both you could add WVU or Mizzou at 16. My two out of the box picks would be Cinncinatti and Eeast Carolina.
