Mizzou loses: 4

at #19 ASU 37-30 (OT)
at #6 OU 38-28
at #14 KSU 24-17
vs #3 OSU 45-24

WVU loses: 3

vs #1 LSU 47-21
at Syracuse 49-23
vs Louisville 38-35

A lot of people don't realize Mizzou is playing a SOPHOMORE QB, and the team had injuries earlier in the season. If Mizzou had an experienced QB they'd probably only have 1 or 2 losses.

isn't Mizzou 4-4 this year

its nice your going to the SEC but frick you are delusional.

We have a first year coach and our youngest D in years we will be fine, you will get physical beat up in the SEC

Missouri has lost 4 games but all of them were to top 20 teams and 3 to top 10 teams with none being blowouts. We also have reasons for it just as valid as your loses. MU lost their best pass rusher and starting QB as they left early for the NFL draft and both were drafted in the first 10 picks. Of the 4 losses many of them can be traced directly to a young inexperienced QB's mistakes. Had Gabbert still been starting they most likely would have been much better. So like WVU they will be better next year that they are this
year.

With that said I have refused to compare the 2 programs because they have played in different conferences and very little interaction between MU and WVU. It's clear that MU had some pretty bad years between the time Dan Devine left in 1970 and the time Gary Pinkel came in in 2001. I respect what WVU has done and I think both are in for a shock when they move leagues. I do wish WVU well in the Big 12 and hope everything works out for them.

As for MU in the SEC. I'm proud of what Pinkel has done with the program and think they will be OK in the SEC if he continues to recruit well. I wouldn't begin to guess how Mizzou is going to do in their first year in the SEC because it's a whole different league. We will see if Pinkel is still able to draw from Texas for recruits and if not will he be able to get it going in other areas. We are going to be looking at a few years of adjusting to the new surroundings.

End of story. Mizzou will be waaay better next year with Franklin as a Junior. Hell the kid is learning the offense and they are still competing with the exception of OSU, doubt if he got many snaps last year.

ETA: Everybody knew Mizzou would be down this year. Like I said next year they'll be on fire.

Actually against OSU Franklin killed 3 drives with turnovers twice inside the OSU 20 and once inside the OSU 5. He also gave OSU the ball inside Missouri's 30 with a turnover. OSU's last touchdown was also a giveaway as Missouri with under 2 minutes remaining went for it on 4th down around their own 20 yard line giving OSU a short field. Eliminate the mistakes and no late score to pad OSU's lead due to giving them the ball back at MU's own 20 and the game is a lot closer and possibly a win.

Now this sounds like a fun wager

The more the merrier, we will all have to make plans for a tailgate when UT comes to town.

An Arky fan friend while in Knoxville brought Jack Cherries. get a HUGE jar of cherries, empty about half the juice and replace with Jack Daniels, let soak for a week, when the cherries are gone shoot the juice! Man I amlost didn't remember the game after that one.
