or has that ship sailed for good legally? I know Slive doesn't really care what I think, but the SEC has a good thing already. Just say no to Texas A&M and HELL no to Missouri.

nope, it's a done deal man. a&m will pay for itself with the increased tv revenues (at least at contract renewal time) and i think they'll go bowling every year. so they will be a financial plus every year and i think a hell of an annual game for lsu, arkansas and a host of other teams. i just hope a 14th team is selected to join the east so the scheduling can be fair over the long term.

Maybe, but TAMU is probably one of the best adds in the country.

0% chance A&M stays in the Big XII. We would go independent or join the Sun Belt before we stayed in the B12

We did it the right way. We talked, but we could back up that talk, unlike the Sooners. Just like Nebraska and Colorado, Texas A&M was smart enough to realize that being in the same league as Texas is detrimental. Texas is a virus that shits on everything that it touches, then it moves on to another host.

Great article:

No. Zero.

We are determined about joining the best conference. We have the balls. We belong.

frick the pansies over at the big 12-X.

A&M is unwavering in this deal.

Legally speaking, maybe not since Baylor has yet to drop their suit against A&M. But that's a mere formality as this point. No way they should go back to that mess now.

You really think they'll go to a bowl game every year? I just don't see that in the SEC, they're a good team now but they go for stretches where they're really bad. It's going to be a tougher road in the SEC than it was in the Big 12 where they won one conference championship. They've been to 14 bowl games in the last 20 seasons which is decent but they're 2-12 in those games. Wow, that's ugly!

Uhh pretty sure the Sooners are the only one's in the Big 12 that can actually talk the talk and walk the walk. They make a shite ton of money as is and they are the only team that can consistently win in the league.

They've already played in 8 of the last 10 Big 12 championship games and won 7 of them with A&M, Nebrask and Colorado in the league. They pretty much have a free and clear path to a BCS game every year now as long as they beat Texas. I wouldn't be too upset if I was them as long as the conference stays together.

Sorry poke. The Aggies will be victorious this year. It took 5 turnovers and our quarterback becoming a turnover machine for you to squeeze out a victory at home last year. This Aggie team is far better than last year's, and they will have revenge on their eyes. We let last year get away. This Texas Aggie team won't allow it to slip away this year, and the noise from the 12th Man will be deafening, even to make a 30 year old like Weeden cry.

2002-2009 we were down (had a decent year in 06). Show me the last prolonged down period before that, please.

You might be surprised you have to go back almost 40 years to the early 70's to find a down period.

I'm guessing you are under 25 and have an altered perception of A&M. You think Fran instead of Bellard, Sherrill and Slocum. And now Sherman

Our new QB doesnt have a bummed shoulder and i can just about guarantee you he wont gift wrap 5 turnovers like JJ did last year. Please dont mistake this for an excuse. But it took our QB throwing 4 wounded duck interceptions and one last minute fumble for you to squeak out a 3 pt last second victory at home. Was a very tough loss as we dominated every other aspect of the game. Just dont count on a win if you let us rack up 500+ yards again this yr! BRING YOUR BEST!

I'm hoping my dress overalls will be back from the dry cleaners.

We were # 5 in the nation last year at turnovers and stuffed your run game. Turnovers are what we do on D. Yall had so many pass attempts...he couldn't help but throw 4 picks. Is that supposed to be our fault?

As is ours.

Our players have no motivation for this game at all.

Didn't seem to bother a mediocre Mizzou team last year.
