No problem with 9 conference games. One year a team has 4 SEC home games and the next year 5 sec home games. It evens out.

The SEC used to have 7 conference games and it worked out fine.

The Big XII has nine CG per year now. Has there been a lot of complaining over there? I don't troll their board so I wouldn't know.

This is the first season that the conference has had nine games. It's no big deal to me. I don't even know if we have four or five home games this season.

When we had twelve teams, we would play the other five South schools and then three of the six from the North.

Alternate the schedule. It's not perfect but it's better than the alternate site. Unless the alternate site happens to be Reliant Stadium in Houston. Then it's perfectly acceptable to me.

the big argument against a 9 game conference schedule is that it reduces bowl revenue for the conference

the home/away disparity is very minor and can be easily addressed with ooc scheduling

First, I think that these "rivalry" games are silly. Getting rid of them would make an eight game schedule much more doable. That having been said, A&M is the new kid in town, and I'm not about to push for getting rid of them if they really mean that much to all of you.

With the rivalry game, you've got to have nine games for the SEC to really be a conference. Any eight game schedule that includes rivalries would mean that you play only one of the six non-rivalry teams in the other division of the conference each season.

That means a kid could play four years of football and, barring meeting them in the conference championship game, never play two of the teams in the SEC. That's not really a conference.

Arky can go to a neutral site game at STL against Mizzou while LSU plays TAMU in Dallas. UT-Vandy at Titans' stadium Nashville OM-MSU in Memphis (Jackson's stadium is a dump) UF-UGA stays same Bama-AU in Birmingham (wait for the crying) USC-UK in Charlotte

We already play ECU in BofA Stadium...Were in year 1 of a 5 year agreement to play them.

At some point, SEC teams will lose their cross division permanent team. When, not if, the conference expands to 16, you'll play 8 conference games and they'll be in your division...period.
