I want Herman. Bad. I know you all want him even more than I do.

But there are a lot of factors here. He might not like Louisiana. He might get an offer from somewhere else that he likes better. He might win a natty and stay in Houston. Anything could happen. We can't just be Herman or bust.

Saying "NO WAY" to potential other good hires is foolish.

We should all become the biggest Texas and Texas A&M fans right about now if we want Herman. If Strong is out at Texas at the end of the season, I think it'd be pretty tough to get him out of their clutches.

I think most rational people know that Herman is a long shot.

You might get Herpes. That doesn't mean you will be scared of p*ssy the rest of your life.

There will be a few very disappointed if Herman doesn't end up here but I think most know its very possible he doesn't.
Him or Jimbo will be homeruns from the fanbase and medias' perspective.
Even if those two don't happen there are a lot of good coaches out there that will succeed with the resources LSU has. The Colorado coach is just one example.

Please don't think of rational thinking or even coherent partially linear thinking when dealing with most of the rantards here. Most are better analysts then guys like Gary Danielson, Mack Brown, etc. Just ask them

Houston is in the American Athletic Conference. This isn't a long shot at all. At worst its a medium shot
