Saban is able to control Kiffin. Everytime he gets a little too cute, Saban goes all Saban on him and reels him back in.

This is how they work.

Kiffin has always been O's boss. Would O be able to control Kiffin like Saban?

How much would Kiffin respect O as an authority?

This is what worries me about the O and Kiffin scenario.

He won't have that problem. A sideways move to a worse situation makes no sense whatsoever.

Spinoff question, do we need to be worried about shady recruiting practices?

His contract is up at Alabama. How do you know they want to retain him?

Coach O used to be Kiffin's subordinate in L.A.

You think they're gonna do a role reversal in LA?

Get real

No. Probation in 3 years is a worthy bet. Pretty even odds.

They worked together before Lane got his HC chances. Ed wanted to hire him as his OC at Ole Miss but USC offered first. I think you get back to the Point Ed keeps trying to get across, that the only way this works is if everyone comes together as one. There can't be anymore division.
