I'd say we already have QBs on the roster that would 'thrive' with any type of proper coaching...

i'll say this...
you get herman and stidham? shite, you got yourself a contender on day 1. all of your QB problems are solved instantly and you can build on that with recruiting.

Briles and Stidham would be solid. I don't care about his baggage. Tell him the only condition is he has to keep Ed O, Raymond, and Aranda. He can bring his son if he wants, but those 3 must stay on staff. That'll offset some of the bad recruiting press LSU will get

If you paired Briles and Aranda itd be a hell of a team. But LSU isnt going to touch Art Briles.

Aranda & Briles know each other. Aranda's first position job was the linebackers coach for Briles at UofH.

He would definitely thrive in that offense. He also has 3 years to play starting in 2017. He would likely stay for two years, declare for the draft, and then we'd have redshirt junior Scott and redshirt freshmen Brennan and Narcisse battle it out in 2019.
