I don’t have any sauce nor either claiming to know but if you look at it the committee doesn’t want OU to make the playoffs. They have a two loss Ole Miss team in from of them in the latest poll. They will have to need much help I think to make the playoffs.

If bama beats Georgia in the SEC title game do they leave Georgia out… I don’t think so and ND will be up there too. To me it’s going to be hard for them to make the playoffs.

If OU wins Saturday and is gearing up for a B12 title game, Riley isn’t getting announced on Sunday.

So you think Riley could win Saturday then say "frick it, my team probably won't make the playoff so I might as well take this other job?" That's insane.

How is that insane? That happens a lot just not as dramatically as you demonstrated.

Can you give another example of a head coach signing with another school with an opportunity to win a national championship?

If happens all the time with coordinators, but never with head coaches.

That would create an instant pure hatred rivalry between us and OU and I would love it.

So if a HC like Lincoln Riley is considering leaving an annual Conf champ and playoff school for a better option at winning it all and making better money why would it delay or stop deal because they do what they always do….play for conf champ and possibly make playoffs. Yet finish short. U accepted that wasnt enough thus ur looking at a better opportunity. Move on. Lets go!

Can you name a single time where a coach whose team was going to or potentially going to make the playoffs left their school in the middle of the most important part of the season? I don’t even think I can name a time when a coordinator was going to be a new head coach t another school when they left before the end of the season.

Why would Riley make an announcement regarding Fickell’s new job?

OU isn’t winning in Stillwater, especially the way they’ve been playing. OSU is legit on defense and will suffocate them.
