that guy has been stealing money for years. but most will still refer to him as some football savant for squeezing out a couple 10 win seasons at iowa

I think he's under contract for longer than 5 more years anyway.

He's done well overall at Iowa, and and Hawkeye fans seem to be happy with him

It's really fricking hard to win at Iowa. Their fans actually realize that. Iowa would be terrible with most coaches.

every couple years he'll have a pretty good year and leverage the shite out of it for a new contract. must get old seeing the same song and dance go on.

You try to get black kids to play in Iowa. I would say he is doing a good job.

Easily one of the toughest recruiting jobs out there.

Iowa's success has been cyclical since Ferentz has been there. 2 average 6-8 win seasons, 1 bad year not making a bowl and then 1 year where they win 10 games. For Iowa, how are you going to do better than that? For most P5 programs....how are you going to do better than that? Only so many wins to go around.

I do love during the down year that pretty much EVERY Iowa fan wants to fire him and hire the big time free agent next guy up. Just not realistic

Hopefully they don't go full retard with the buyout on his contract extension.

Iowa is not a great job, but at least it's not Iowa State.

He's won more conference titles than all Iowa coaches since his predecessor.

He's the only Iowa coach since his predecessor. Also both of those Big Ten titles were over a decade ago. He's had one 10 win season since then though he should get another this year since they have nobody on their schedule.

You really didn't need to say this.

Miles is the only coach since his predecessor. Probably a few others. Not sure

He's just way overpaid. Iowa shouldn't can him obviously they just gave him way to much money
