He's an admin/PR guy. You are being dishonest if you are trying to make him out to be more than that.
Aleeva is spinless..the network got their man and he is to much a pussy to do what's best for everyone. This will be the conclusion. frick him

What should the resume of assistant/gofer look like?
I'm not a fan of the O hire, but I think bitching about his assistant is silly.
Does anyone even know who the people are in these positions at other schools? Seems irrelevant.
For some reason.

am pretty sure that's O's plan/selling point
we're building a shadow admin and coaching staff
that requires incredible attention to detail and authoritarian monitoring. perfect for Saban
but yeah i don't think many guys can run that show in CFB. i admire O's confidence in his abilities, but...

when Miles' gopher Dingman was let go, most people said "who?" as they should. Ponamsky just seems to have way to prominent of a role given his background. It's just really weird.
Seriously....find me a regime where the gopher bitch received multiple thank yous from a coach?

Not just muliple Thank You's, the very first thank you in your introductory press conference

We're hinging our success of an OC that this guy is intrinsically and abstractly involved in vetting.
As in inexperience + lobbying platform + the fifth estate.

Exactly
And for comparisons sake, Dingman was an all American at Michigan and has degrees in sports management and communications

dingman was also accused of listening in on meetings for Les Miles

But Culotta, his former co-host, said two weeks ago when asked what will O did when his all star coordinators move on, "well coach O will have guys like Austin Thomas and Derek Ponamsky locate the top candidates around the country."
Culotta seems to think Ponamsky is giving advice on who to hire for O's staff.
Compare it to recruiting. A guy like Thomas would put together a list of players that seem to be quality and gettable. He probably uses several information/data sources to come up with the list. But, the coaching staff is evaluating which players they want and which ones they spend time recruiting.
This is the same thing. Sure, the admins may do the legwork to identify a list of candidates. Perhaps they reach out to people they know to narrow the list, but they won't be making any decisions.
I don't think there needs to be a campaign of misinformation to knock down the Orgeron hire.

Question? What, exactly, is the River Boat Captain Prince of?
Posted on 11/28/16 at 11:23 am to Damone
The prince is probably vetting a new mazda Miata. Wait that's culotta.

Can always count on the OT mentality. Suddenly Ponamski is the most powerful figure of all time in LSU athletics. He gets coaches hired just by preparing binders and gets first crack at vetting all coaching candidates.
