Will Muschamp got a second chance

So should Coach O. His mentors and NFL experience are better than our other candidates. Coach is the face of the program and lead recruiter. Great leaders surround themselves with strong OC's and DC's. We have the DC just need the the OC.

And with a 5-5 record, I'm sure South Carolina fans are ecstatic with the hire.

Coach O will win out-- and get 3-4 contract.

I seem to remember Muschamp had his team in a sugar bowl one year. And he averaged more than 1 SEC win a year. Plus that defense was awesome.
There was upside with muschamp. What's O's big upside?

Muschamp also didn't average 3 wins per year at UF.

It's hard enough to make a homerun hire on one side of the ball. It would be damn near impossible to always have top notch coordinators on both sides of the ball because your HC is incapable of filling one of those rolls.

He's doing a fantastic job his second go around also! He took over a shite team I mean shite and has changed the way they are playing. You learn A LOT as a failure your first time! Seems to me he has and it will be an utter lose to hire Jimbo. If you want to go the route of T Herman fine but not Jimbo please god. They should stay with coach O if that's the case IMO. Saban doesn't know Herman he knows exactly who Jimbo is. Jimbo has had success so why would he change anything he's doing there? He wouldn't coach O has had the opportunity to go all over, see different successful styles and he's mixing them all to have success. He isn't just doing nothing like some clowns say that is just ridiculousness.

As he should.. I hope he does and makes all the negative O riders miserable. Lol

Coach O is a cool dude. He can hire some good coordinators and be successful here. No one is debating that.
But why would you hire him when you can hire someone established and proven who can also hire good coordinators and be successful here.
Literally the only reason is to save money, which who cares since it's all privately funded.

Muschump has been a successful DC and guided UF to a sugar bowl. O is a career dline coach. Bad comparison

What's O's big upside?
but Coach O's upside is that he has this team WINNING.
What else have we been waiting for?
Inb4 he's never built a program.

Will Muschamp wasnt a career position coach. He has actually ran a successful side of the ball.

Lol. Ed orgeron has done nothing to warrant being the hc of a big time program.
There are hundreds of cfb coaches with better resumes.
We just fired a coach that was a great recruiter and great motivator that runs a prostyle offense so lets go ahead and hire a coach that is a great recruiter and great motivator that runs a prostyle offense.

Muschamp, who also has NFL experience, was 28-12 in four seasons at UF and was the 2012 Co-SEC coach of the year. He had 1 losing season out of four. O went 10-25 at Ole Miss --- and Ole Miss team two seasons removed for tying for first in the SEC west --- and had no winning seasons.
I see the difference. Do you?
