With this information getting out and being credible, as opposed to message board drivel, it guarantees a 4 1/2 hour long commercial for their university during the SEC Championship Game tomorrow. Every time Tennessee makes a first down, we are going to hear from Verne and Gary about how LSU's defense is distracted by the departure of their beloved coordinator. It is brilliant, actually.

I am thinking that we are going to hear more about Nebraska, and subsequently, Michigan, than we will about Tennessee and LSU.

yes i am sure the Nebraska brass is thinking they need 4+ hrs of ad time to the extreme southeastern demographic.

Please NO!!!!!!!! Not Verne and Gary again.... Those guys are horrible. I guess I'll have to watch without sound!

Your right though, thats all we'll hear about is Nebraska and Michigan - thats how CBS works - all about the drama, not the game!

It did not come from here but you are exactly right this is a huge distraction to the Tigers. You can thank ESPN for that.

I know it will be stupid saying this but I hope it does not affect the outcome of the game and LSU kicks the shite out of the VOL's

How is/are ESPN's "source(s)" any more credible than the horsehockey "inside information" sources a lot of the Ranters cite?

Personally I think ESPN has no more privied information than does anybody else, on here at least. I think they're just more reserved in their speculation than any of "us" on here, whose names don't appear in national headlines, are.

Folks have been speculating about this shite for weeks and, just now, ESPN runs an article about some "supposed" hiring/deal?

I see it as nothing more than ESPN trying to drum up business and headlines for themselves.

No one knows where this came from. I also can't see an LSU staff member, Pelini family member or anyone related to LSU breaking this.

FWIW, this has been the WORST kept secret!

It'll be interesting to see if Gary Dainelson can call the LSU plays again like he did last week.
