I k ow he's not the 'sexy' choice or the exciting personality but the man can coach/recruit. He works his tail off, is obviously offensive minded and develops qb's, has succeeded in a very difficult place to succeed- heck, he had MSU freaking number one in the nation just a couple years ago, obviously lots of HC experience in the SEC, he is very well spoken and personable in PR and media affairs. I think he would be a great dark horse candidate. Why has he not been considered, or has he?

He has 7 losses this year and the clock is still ticking.

None for me, thanks.

Better question: Why would any idiot consider Dan Mullin a valid option for LSU?

What he's done at MSU in his tenure is incredibly impressive. Don't be an idiot.

He has 7 and will probably have 8 losses this year. You want him and I am the idiot?

I've silently been wondering this myself. What he's done while having to take recruiting leftovers from LSU to the west and Alabama to the east has been extremely impressive.

So an under the radar QB he found and coached to absurd levels is a knock against him, yet Tom Herman is #1 on the back of Greg Ward?

So he's had a bad year - it happens to everyone not named Saban. He's won 8 or more games in 4 of his 9 years at MSU. Considering the division strength during that time, that's basically a miracle at MSU.

He is 28-35 in the SEC. is it really all that impressive that he has maintained MSU as a below average team?

think about what you are saying. 4 games a year are cupcakes. So every other year he manages to maybe win 4 sec games
