O gets hired and immediately there is shite all over the place about Kiffin coming for 2 mill a year. It doesn't just come from here either. I am seeing it all over the place.

Kiffin will be coaching for another month and a half at Alabama. Why do we continually show our entire hand constantly so early? If Kiffin really is the guy you lay out the ground work for Alabama to try to retain them if they want. If we offer 2 mil and Bama offers 2.1 Alleva will tuck his tail between his fricking legs and run. So why do we continue to make the same mistakes over and over again?

Because that's what we get with Orgeron. We are going to rely on top notch coordinators.

Unless another school wants them of course, then we will just promote a grad assistant or some shite.

I know this, but that's a whole different topic. My point was why does it so easily get out that this is the guy we want and we will pay him X amount of money. And we do it over a month before he ever has a chance to be employed here.

Because this institution is run by functioning imbeciles that shouldn't be trusted to operate their vehicles, much less a multimillion dollar football program.

Probably because it doesn't matter what Bama does with him. If he doesn't get a top HC position, he's going to join his lifetime friend. Besides, his contract expires and they hired his direct, and equally good, replacement for this exact scenario.

Bama is run on a different level...sucks but true.
