When Aranda goes to Texas, will the O fans realize how big this mistake was?

You don't think they spoke to Aranda before the decision was made? If not, that is what should bring J.A. down.

I seriously doubt this move would have been made without some certainty that Aranda was going to stay. They were pretty adamant that he was to remain on the staff whoever the head coach was and that had to play into the decision. What does he gain by going to Texas at this point? He's not far from being a head coach somewhere and going to Texas isn't going to make that happen any faster than it will at LSU. I think he stays because the administration is very serious about keeping him and he is probably going to remain associate head coach and get a hefty pay raise. Which is more than deserved because the guy is a fricking defensive genius. I'm not pumped up about Orgeron either but I don't think we lose Aranda at all.
