was no rumor.

I just said he would be a great hire. and he probably won't go back to the pros so its worth exploring. thats it.

No College team can touch the kind of money Bill Cower will get when he becomes a Pro Coach again. I would say that he will be the higest paid Pro coach. All Bill Cower is doing is giving his brain a little R and R.

heard him on Rome. I think he had enough of pros. I think a Saban type deal would get him or get him interested.

No way he goes to any college but NC State, and that won't even happen. He's a pro coach.

It's "Cowher," and if you think there is even a 1% chance of coming to LSU, you are totally clueless.

1--He is an NFL coach, and has never expressed desire to do anything else.

2--No college will be willing (and some not able) to match the money that the next pro team offering a job will. We're talking 6-8 million a year folks.

3--IF he were to go to any college, it would have been his alma mater NC State. Where he lives, where his wive and kids live, where it makes sense.

There is zero basis or any reason that Bill Cowher would ever consider coming here. Period.

Hope that helps.

Or...to play devil's advocate...let me go ahead and present the flip side of the argument:

"Bill Cowher's wife was seen last week in Baton Rouge house-shopping."

Man that was easy.

fyi: Mike Holmgren made $8 million this year, highest in the NFL. Expect any offer to Cowher to be at least comparable (i.e no less than 6.5).
