What makes this a terrible hire

With a coach that's dependant on coordinators, he can put all the blame on one or the other each year as he buys time with the administration after firing each one at a time if they dont work out.
All the meanwhile, lsu as a program is falling further back into hell
What happens when kiffin doesn't show up? Or leaves?
