So he gave a great interview, had a great plan, whatever. How can we predict what coordinators he can recruit to LSU in 2 or 3 years? Any elite coordinator, especially a young one, will eventually leave. Are we really basing this hire on the ability to continually bring high level coordinators to LSU?

What in the actual $&!???

for a serious response

the irony is "continuity" is going to be the selling point

but

that is impossible under an O regime for the reasons you listed

CEO's job is to recruit great staff, footballers, motivate the team, and make critical decisions on/off the field.

The question is whether he can recruit staff as well as he can recruit players? If so, we'll be fine.

you list 4 things in your first sentence and then gloss over it in your "the question is" sentence

sir, the question is if O can make critical decisions on the field for LSU

Any staff will lose a good coordinator. But in those 2-3 years, a good coordinator will earn his keep & the program will be better off for his being on staff.

It will always be possible to get burned with a bad coordinator, and with O, you don't have that one particular side of ball that you could trust that could negate that.

Yeah I understand that. Hence the question -- can he recruit great staff?
