Comparing a HC accept to assistants that are employed on primary lateral moves is a ridiculous premise.

I’m assuming he and Woodward are interviewing and considering all of their candidates. I don’t think they are all still coaching nor do I think both hires (OC/DC) come from the NFL. The only thing I can assume at this point is they are both crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. The assistant positions will come after OC/DC as they will probably want a say. IMO anyways

Rumors are they had been talking to him for a couple of week. They already had a deal in place when they let Herman go. I don’t really like the hire but UT knew who they wanted and made it happen.

Waiting on guys to finish their season? Waiting on a buyout to lower? There are a ton of reasons that could potentially delay the process that aren’t necessarily bad.

Just think about it we’re getting damn near all of our defensive players back and they seem pretty excited which means they know something just because it hasn’t been announced doesn’t mean it not done
