The rumor was that as long as O beat UF and A&M, the job was his. Then he lost to UF and Alleva targeted Herman but still wanted O obviously if he beat A&M.

What if LSU was blown out by A&M?? What would the hire be?? Alleva obviously wasn't ballsy enough to try and battle UT for Herman.

Would he still have settled for O with a loss to A&M ??? Or gone another route and actually had a real coaching search and interview process?

What if my aunt had a dick....she'd be my uncle. Both are pretty pointless to discuss.

Alleva and the coonass LSU fans would have just moved the goalposts further back to allow Orgeron to get the job like they did when he lost to Alabama, and again when he lost to Florida.

I think this is a topic in itself...

Why are there no other options?
I don't buy the easy answer... Alleva.

I was never sold on Tom herman.
Fisher? That ship sailed last year.

Who else? Where were rest of the candidates?
No NFL guys interested?

That's what I'm getting at. How was there no other options??? I mean you have O in your back pocket. Just conduct a normal search like most programs would do.

I think it's important to discuss because we'll be picking a new coach in a couple of years.

I could have coached that team to win all of those games. Let coordinators do their job. Talk like an illiterate in shrimp boots and without any experience Alleva would have chosen me. I think I get them into the Sugar Bowl and force them to do something anything different against Bama. fricking idiots. All of them.

We were never going to beat out Texas for Herman.

Never.

Ever.

Zero fricking chance.
