He's also the father of my unborn child - he doesn't even know it yet.

Tom Herman has not just broken, but absolutely shattered records at every stop. He is a winner and a really smart dude (Mensa member). I want that as my coach.

Has anyone mentioned that he took a team that had been primarily Air Raid for a few season before he got there and installed his power spread offense with instant success?

He's the next Urban.

I'm not suggesting he's not a good coach, obv he is.

But hc at LSU > hc at Houston.
Much bigger task.
I just hope he's ready if in fact they offer him.

That's exactly how urban Meyer beat saban at Florida and Ohio state and how malzahn beat saban and maybe even freeze. I've said it for years. Run up tempo or even HUNH and stretch them
Horizontally then come
Back and gouge them vertically after a big front 7 has been running sideline to sideline all game.

Smoked Saban as an OC......Smoked Jimbo with inherited Houston Talent......Smoked Stoops with Houston Talent. They run the ball, they run the option, they throw to the tight end......he recruits Texas......

Herman is the GUY

My French is a little rusty, but I don't think "de jour" means three years.

This guy's resume is as good as it gets. He beat Saban as an OC and as a head coach has beaten both Fisher and Stoops, and not with some Gus gimmick shite. He didn't just beat them, he took their teams full of four and five stars to the woodshed. He's won a title with a third string QB who showed he was nothing special after Herman left, and has taken a bunch of two stars to a top 10 ranking.

Tom Herman is as close to a sure thing as there is, and he's most certainly not a flash in the pan.

I really like Herman and would be thrilled if we hired him. But wasn't everybody sucking Fuentes's dick like this last year. I have heard zero about him at Va Tech this year.

You might want to watch a little more football the. After his team fumbled away a lead and game against Tennessee, they have scored 101 points the last 2 weeks against some decent opponents. His offense and Bud Foster's defense seem to be gelling in the last two blowout wins. They face a tough challenge in North Carolina this week. But everyone is Blacksburg is buzzing about Justin Fuentes.

Tech is 3-1 this season and Fuente took over a program that Beamer let slide into mediocrity.

Let's give a guy more than 4 games to decide whether he was a good hire.
