Everybody is gonna pick a guy they like and push to get him while hating on all the other the candidates. I like Jimbo but without Jameis Winston (a once in a lifetime talent) he hasn't done anything special. Tom Herman has beat Jimbo's Florida State team bad!!! He beat Oklahoma and now he's beaten Louisville!! Haters gonna be like, "he lost to SMU and Navy". Well, he is coaching Houston!!! HELLO!!!

Only knock on him for me is time as a head coach. But I'm firmly in the Fisher/Herman either/or camp. Herman has more upside in my opinion, but also more risk.

So I guess LSU should hire Ken N. from Navy then.

Fisher < Herman < Ken N.

People that think Herman is risky should go listen to that guy talk. Go to YouTube and watch his interviews. He knows what he's doing

To answer that question directly;

Only SIGN the contract that Texas presents him making him the 3rd highest paid coach in college football.

I hope that clears it up for you a little!

No Ken didn't beat Bama as O coordinator of a 3rd string QB. He didn't beat Oklahoma, Fla state, or Louisville. Where have u been?

If you're going to discredit Fisher for losing to Herman, dont dismiss Herman for losing to other coaches.

Fisher lost to a damn good coach in a bowl game. That doesn't diminish Fisher.

Saban lost to Utah and Oklahoma in bowl games.

Does that mean their coaches are better than him?

I wasn't discrediting Jimbo by saying Herman beat him. I was trying to say that Tom Herman's resume is more impressive when you consider all the variables.

I think if he wins a NC next year at Houston they will think he might be worthy of applying for the position of holding O's jockstrap. Only if he goes undefeated though. If he loses a game he's out.

O is the GOAT. I thought everyone already knew that.

So it's okay for Herman to kiss his players, but not okay for Pokie to do it?

That's bullshite.

The loss to SMU was worse than the Navy gimmicky offense. I like Herman no to Jimbo if Herman goes to Texas I'm not sure who I would pick.

I'd be happy with Jimbo or Herman.

One knock on Herman that I heard discussed this morning is that when his team was facing adversity and outside distraction (not getting into big 12, rumor mill of him leaving) his team's didn't play with the same intensity and fire.

I will say this a lot on here discredit the hype and enthusiasm O has brought this season, college football is an emotion charged game. More so than the NFL.

We have seen if with Miles for the past 11 years, the team was hype for a few games a year's then flat for the rest causing ugly, close wins or upsets.

Hopefully the next coach will not be the same.

I'm on and have been on the Tom Herman train. I truly believe he is the better option between he and Fisher.
