Viator doesn't adapt gameplans. If it works and is kicking as Mcneese wins. F they are getting beat down, there is no second half adjustment Mcneese just loses. You can watch the first quarter and know how the game will turn out.

Where did you get that from? To discount everyone is as silly as including everyone. We will end up, and I promise, with an OC that has had some flashes of great things and some flashes of mediocrity, it is the nature of the game when dealing with guys with a long history in coaching.

What we will not end up with is a lowest of tier coach like Viator. You are suggesting
unknown candidates like it is just as good as a reputable name guy.

Also, LSU isn't a school that needs to experiment with unknown guys.

I really don't know why I am even arguing this topic

It's as silly as anything I've ever seen on this board

I think his defense has had trouble holding leads. His offense normally puts up some points and moves the ball consistently. Im not saying we should hire him tomorrow but we need to at least consider a few more risky candidates that may be a diamond in the rough. Anyhow, I was tired of rehashing the same names over and over. At least this is a fresh name to talk about. If Krags and Scelfo are being considered then who knows where Les goes with this hire. I just hope its someone we haven't heard a lot of talk about. Im not crazy about many of the names being tossed around with the exception of the Wisconsin guy.

Its amazing that someone actually is suggesting this nobody.

Unbelievable.

LSU is not UL.

He's not exactly a nobody and he was interviewing for the head job at UL not the OC. Two completely different jobs. He is very well respected as an offensive mind.

As far as LSU is concerned, Viator is a nobody.

It doesn't make any difference who he hires. Why , because miles will be calling 75% of the plays anyway just like before so nothing will change on offense even if you get him and leach.

Coach Viator runs shotgun the entire game literally out of the same formation. Why? Because everyone knows what to do/ block on every play up front. Very, Very simple but effective especially with superior talent. On the other hand, this is not really what we need to be doing at LSU these days. Coach Viator is vanilla spread not multiple at ALL!!!

Not an option sorry... but I do think there is more up his sleeve offensively... He just chooses to run this offense for some reason...
